We are so pleased we have stayed here, very welcoming hosts, the breakfast is simply amazing and the location is great to go on day trips to Kuldiga and Liepaja.
As we arrived, the host offered to bring out some toys for our four year old daughter. We were able to taste the homemade wine (the sparkling champagne method one is so delicious) and beautiful tea from dried plants coming straight from their garden.
We wouldn't hesitate one second to come back, should we find ourselves in Latvia again. Thank you very much for everything!

Spacious outside and inside sitting areas, pool and sauna were great, beds pretty comfy and the kitchen was properly stacked with everything you can possibly think of, including spices (we brought our own, expecting salt and pepper only).
Lake is a few steps down from the property, where you can go for a swim or take a SUP, changing huts are right by the lake too.
Location is great to visit waterfalls and Kuldiga itself, caves and, also, owner suggested ostrich and goats farm - which proven to be a great little hidden gem, young ladies serving and giving a tour were an absolute joy and the food at the restaurant on site was lovely too.
Little minimarket is 2 min walk away from the property and has everything you might possibly need, from groceries, toileitries, drinks and eben coal for bbq.
All in all - a great place at a great location and more than reasonably priced.

A small, but charming town. Perfect to stay if you plan to go to Liepāja and Kuldīga, because it is approximately in the middle. The best option, if you come from Riga, is to rent a car and come to Aizpute by car, because the objects and other towns around are also worth seeing.
I suggest Giardino di Napoli for some tasty pizzas and Aizpute winery for some tasty wines.
In Aizpute, you can reach just about anywhere by feet. One day is enough to see this town.
