The location was amazing - the view from our cave room was the best in the gorge. The cave room was an experience and the food was delicious - the best we’d had all week.

We had an awesome 3 day climbing stay with Ibrahim at the hotel de la vallée! (One of) the only hotels within walking distance of the rocks. Copious breakfast and meals. Rooms provide ample space with sturdy beds. Nice roof and backside terrace, perfect to chill after the climbing. Highly recommended.

Staff is really really friendly and helpful, they helped with finding the parking space in the night, answered to all our needs and requests, also recommended a hike nearby. The room is absolutely lovely, the view from the room and from the terrasse, where we had breakfast is breathtaking. Very clean place, hot water was also not a problem. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to stay with greate location, personel is very nice and helpful. WiFi, hot water works well, if toilet papier is missing just ask stuff for one or use water and buy in the shop next to hotel;) there is also a little shop with carpets inside - Abdullah is though negotiator but I hope we both are happy haha :) nice view from terrace, and good food. This is very tourist location so be ready for some tricks used on tourists.
Visit, Visit, Visit. And if you like to hike, do the climb that starts at the stairs. If you are a good climber, it takes about an hour to get to the top. We crossed paths with goats and nomads along the way! The view is a panoramic view of both sides.

Todra Gorge is a beautiful area.
Todra Gorge is a beautiful area. I went there mainly to climb with a group of friends as it is an area famous for this
Etoile de Gorge as the perfect location for this as there is literally great climbing as soon as you step out of the hotel. Many great climbing spots are just within walking distance. And if you drive a bit, you can find more amazing crags.
Wi-fi is bad in the entire area.
(BTW Orange has zero signal in this area so get a Sim from INWI if you're thinking of coming to Todra Gorge).
I would seriously recommend planning for a digital detox and not having to do a bit of remote work as I had to :( as this place is gorgeous and relaxing!
Price-wise the whole area it's on the touristy end for food. But this can be said for all hotels and restaurants in the area. Restaurant food prices aren't too different from touristy places in Marrakesh. In other (less popular) places, the food quality is the same and half the price.
