The owner is wonderful and a living connection to Morocco’s journey to independence. The location is truly sublime, the staff efficient friendly and helpful. This place is a guest house in the true sense. You feel a guest, as if you are invited to someone’s country home for the weekend. As you stay a few days - is worthy of at least 3, we stayed 6, you slip into a world of peace and gentility of times gone by and lost in the west. Ahmed is a talented chef. He asked what we liked then delivered wonderful meals. Local food done well - Tagline, Couscous and other dishes when we asked. Navarine of Lamb with Dauphinois potato and a chocolate torte. Wonderful. It felt like he was our chef.

The hosts and staff were lovely. The surroundings were beautiful. The room was comfortable and the breakfast sufficient. Good venue for a full switch off relax.

We booked Eden Atlas at the last minute when we made the impulse decision to change our flights and spend 3 more days in Morocco. We were a little surprised to find we were the only guests - but once we got over this it was absolutely fantastic. Momo the manager upgraded us from the room we had booked to half of the 4 bed villa - so we had two beds and a large living room and patio to enjoy. The property has been newly refurbished so although it looks traditional in the pictures it is all mod cons - fantastic showers, lots of very hot water, large comfortable beds and very tastefully furnished. Breakfast was provided each morning in the communal dining room - Moroccan breads, fruit, yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, jam and honey etc, and eggs of your choosing plus mint tea (of course) and delicious coffee. There is the option to have lunch and/or dinner - set menu at a very good set price (20 euros for 3 generous courses). There isn't a menu as such but we were able to discuss what we wanted. The portions were so generous that on the last night we opted for two courses! Drinks (including alcohol) are also available at extra cost obviously. They also lit a fire in our living room every evening while we were having dinner so it was lovely and cosy when we returned to our villa. The property is set in an olive grove in at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains there are glorious views all around. The pool was inviting but it wasn't quite warm enough when we were there - only managed to go in up to my waist. It really is an oasis of cam and tranquility - they are doing a lot of work in the gardens which will only improve it - there is a pétanque course and large fire bit which would be lovely when the evenings are warmer. We will definitely be returning.

The staff where all friendly from the waiters to the owner. Very accommodating. There was plenty of space around the pool and they had variety of places to sunbathe

Jamal and his family were exceptional hosts. I loved how quiet the area was and the kafta tagine was delicious. I would love to come back!

We have stayed at this place twice in 2023 and now in 2024. The owner, Amine, is fantastically hospitable, a great cook providing healthy food options and is open to all suggestions. He has been extremely helpful in sorting out all sorts of logistics and our enquiries. We collectively cannot recommend this place more highly. The location overlooks the high atlas mountains not touristy and near a typical Moroccan town. Great value for money. A great escape from Marrakech if you want some peace and easy access to hiking country. A car is advisable.

The location is stunning. The views of the mountains are so beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place has a calm, relaxed atmosphere. The pools are also both beautiful. The short travel time to the airport makes this a really accessible slice of escapism.
