The riad's design blends modern comfort with authentic Moroccan charm, and our room was incredibly clean and comfortable with beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The peaceful atmosphere and convenient location made it ideal for exploring Assilah. The value for money was outstanding, surpassing many more expensive riads. Highly recommended for a memorable and authentic experience!

GibraltarI’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times in the last 12 months. It’s well located close by to the main town and old Medina. Rooms are comfy, staff are polite and there’s guarded on street parking. Breakfast is good. There’s restaurants nearby. It’s good value for money.

United KingdomWe stayed for two nights during the low season, but I still suggest booking a room without any windows if you're a light sleeper. This place is very well-located and easy to find. It was clean and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and spoke fluent English. Inside the riad, it was very quiet. The other guests were respectful and didn't disturb each other's presence. I recommend this place.

After realising train leaves Asilah at around 2pm for Tangier, they requested my late check out.
Lovely place to stay.

AustraliaHotel is in a great location just outside of the Medina, meaning you can get dropped off right out the front by a taxi. Everything is in walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace is lovely with great views. Our room was nice and comfortable. Good value for money. Recommend staying here.

It is a holiday destination that caters for the local Rabat/Tangier crowd. The town is expanding not dissimilar to Spain and S France a couple of decades ago. The town beach is OK, but the gems are a 30 taxi ride away. The food along the main section is excellent and cheap. Very few serve alcohol but there is an off licence if you can find it. I have been many many times in the last 37 years and it never fails to impress, plenty to do for a long weekend, easily accessible from Tangiers by train or taxi (approx 200mdh), very safe, lovely people, new marina being built , probably best to stay outside the marina as it might be noisy at night, plenty of affordable accommodation in the area, great choice of eateries, shops and hammams, car not necessaryGuest review byAnonymousSpain - Review score8.0

The medina was very clean.
The medina was very clean. We watched the sunset from Cafe Derya, which was beautiful. The Medina lets its white walls painted by artists every July, that was interesting. Nice restaurants. We visited Paradise beach on the day we left, but its definetely one of the best beaches in Morocco. The access road is easier by 4x4. I gave Dede a call and she sent me the directions and checked in on me until I arrived! Once getting to der el pirata I felt at home, I only stayed one night but gosh I wish I could book a whole week! Easily situated a couple of minutes walk from Asilah’s absolutely stunning medina. And close to a vast array of oddly specific shops and stalls where you can buy literally anything.
