This place was a bit tired. The potential for it to be great again is there as the pool is excellent and so are the rooms. We had no hot water at times but think it is solar powered so that's ok. We told staff one of our chairs on our terrace was broken and they said they would come in half an hour but they never did. The breakfast was nice enough but could be greatly improved if there was an egg station where someone makes omelettes and fried eggs etc. Pastries were always stale. The best thing was the french bread, jams, boiled eggs and olives. Otherwise the rest could be left out.

A mind blowing location on the top of a mountain with an exceptional view on the city and other mountains. The suite was spacious and very beautifully decorated with mountainous rocks. Bearkfast was fair. The person in charge of the booking assisted us with all what we want. We will certainly go back.

Nice and clean, very friendly host, well equipment, easy to park in the front of it
Beni Mellal is cute enough. The town seems chill and gives the right kind of Moroccan vibes. Since we went during Ramadan, eating wasn't much of a highlight: in the daylight hours we were forced to accept McDonald's drive-thru before heading out on a day trip, but that night we had pizza at Davinci Restaurant, which was surprisingly quite good (particularly if you're familiar with pizza in Morocco) and overall well managed.
The region is even more spectacular: drive over the mountain range to Bin El Ouidane (1 hour) and continue to Ouzoud Falls (1 hour more) via Azilal (about midway in between). Gorgeous terrain!

The apartment is in a small, lively, neighbourhood street with a mosque at the end. It's on the edge of the town and less than a 15-minute walk to the Ain Asserdoun spring and a lovely park with fountains and waterfalls. Beni Mellal Castle is another short climb, well worth it for the views. Walking down to the town is easy enough; walking back up depends on your legs. Small taxis are plentiful. Mehdi is a very attentive and welcoming host and quick to respond if something is needed, like a gas bottle changing, for example. Wifi was good.
We just used this hotel as a stopover but it was very new, clean and comfortable. We did not know the town or area.
The facilities were all good and new, so no complaints at all. Breakfast was nice and served in the adjoining cafe.
There were no evening meals available on the premises so we had to find a place to eat locally - which is a shame as we would have eaten in the cafe if food was available.
I have stayed here previously. I have also recommended it to family and friends and never disappointed. Everything is good including: staff, facilities and location.
I have sampled all the known hotels in Beni Mellal and I can honestly say La Luna is the best
