Dining, basically outdoors, in a corner of the garden next to a very warm fire on a very cool night. The dinner was extensive and delicious including the saffron bean soup. The host/owner was very kind, informative and helpful. Hotel is either adjacent to or attached to a very, very old fort which just made the entire experience so magically Moroccan. It was great fun to sleep under lots of warm blankets thinking I was in a caravanserai high in the mountains on the way to the Sahara desert.

PLEASE READ If you are booking a bungalow for a single person, there is a problem on the booking website which shows a price of only 30 or 40 dirham. I booked this and when I arrived at the property they told me they've had this problem before and the real price is 150dh and showed me the price list on the wall. The staff was very friendly and apologetic and gave me a discount on the full rate as it was an honest inconvenience for us both. Best to call them or show up in person if you see a similar price!

Very nice owner and staff. We were served an excellent home cooked tajine and a substantial breakfast. Good stop on way from Ourzazate to Agadir.
