Despite the fact that I requested a quiet and nice room for our anniversary, we had been given a room in a separate wing of the hotel, very close to the main road and on the first floor. Our room was located just above a very noisy street and all day and night we had the pleasure to hear all the drunken people walking and screaming in the middle of the night, loud cards, garbage trucks collecting the garbage at 4 am, trucks cleaning the street and all sort of noises and loud people cars and more that we couldn’t sleep at all at night. The weather was very pleasant when we stayed, maybe 18-20 Celsius at night and we wanted to keep the window open but the noise was unbearable ! We had maybe the worse room and the worse stay in many many years and we are very disappointed that the reservation / reception personnel did not make an effort to allocate a better room, maybe upper floors or in a different, quieter part of the hotel. The hotel was not full as there were very few people around when we travelled ( late March into 2nd of April) so plenty of rooms to chose from, however, I feel they just didn’t care.

Variety. Breakfast and dinner were excellent! Everything was so tasty! Very polite and helpful staff - Andrea that helped me book a hairdresser, everyone at the reception or around the pool area. Room was spacious, it’s quiet and the view on the beach is relaxing.

Monte Carlo has made a world-famous name for itself in the worlds of sport and business, despite its small size. It is the largest district of the Principality of Monaco, covering a narrow strip of land at the foot of the Maritime Alps. For many, Monte Carlo is Monaco, and in reality it’s difficult to tell where one district ends and another begins.
What is clear is the wealth of its residents, which is no surprise given it’s a tax haven. Exclusive yachts line the marinas, and you’re almost as likely to see a Formula One driver leaving their house as you are to see them hurtling past during the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.
However, it’s the Monte Carlo Casino that it is the clear symbol of status. Its landscaped gardens add to a feeling of grandeur worthy of the European Poker Tour Final and the 2 James Bond films set here. Next door is the opulent Salle Garnier Opéra, built for ancestors of the present-day royal family, who reside in the Prince’s Palace by the historic Monaco-Ville district.
Whether you’re staying for the Monte Carlo Rally, an exhibition at Grimaldi Forum or simply to lounge on Larvotto beach, Booking.com has accommodation options ranging from cheap apartments to luxury hotels, some with helicopter transfers from Monaco Heliport.

Monte Carlo / Monaco is not renowned for its friendliness or its cheapness but you can overcome these traits by sticking to restaurants, bars or cafés run by the many Italians. Entry fees are at acceptable rates and a lot is free, especially the beautiful public parks. Using public transport is easy enough (just have a bank/credit card for buses). There's a lot to see in a compact space and a much of it is unique or unusual. The Oceanographic Institute with its aquarium and fabulous rooftop views, the palace square, the old town and coastal paths of the Rocher, the morning tour of the Casino, the parks and gardens are all worthwhile.

This was my first trip to Monaco, from the very first minute, the hotel made me feel positive, I felt like home, the staff is fantastic, I have never met such people anywhere! They are strangers but I felt like I had known them for a hundred years. Your hotel made my trip unforgettable and sweet. The location is the best, the views are fabulous. I really fell in love with your hotel and I want to come again because of you. I love you

For a romantic short city break it was a fantastic location and staying in the Fairmont hotel with a stunning sea view was amazing. We flew from Nice airport to Monaco by helicopter to start the trip off on a high,. It was so clean and tidy everywhere and the people were really friendly. We found a lovely restaurant near the Princes Palace called Pinocchio and would highly recommend it.

Location was good however it was over crowded and from check in to check out everything was very slow. I will say no worth for the amount I had paid for two rooms we booked. I will never go back to this hotel again.

While Monaco is a small place it offers gorgeous, elegant architecture, palaces, fancy restaurants, beautiful gardens, high-end classic boutiques, the famous Monaco Grand Prix track and spectacular views over the Mediterranean Sea. These are only but a few things that make this spectacular, luxurious city worth visiting.

Monte Carlo is amazing it’s quiet as it’s far enough away from the casino but still close. Bus facilities will bring you directly to the beach and casino. Palace is accessible by bus or walking up big hill. Great for solo travellers as it’s so safe. Loads of police around

Great location in the building of the automobile club of Monaco. Right on the start finish straight of the F1 track.
The apartment itself definitely has the Monaco charm. It’s a comfortable place to stay with everything you need present.
It was cleaned well and the bed was comfortable.
The marina and the museum with the car collection of the prince of Monaco are nearby, as are various restaurants and a 24h supermarket.
Continental Breakfast as expected. Ideal location if travelling by train, bus stop was just 100m away, 5m walk from Casino sq. Luggage room available. Nice in-hotel restaurant with reasonable prices for Monaco. Spatious room with all the standard amenities included.
