Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Those who spoke English spoke it well and those who spoke Russian & Romanian were very patient. Most of the time we used Google Translate. The laundry service was efficient and a good price. Location was great; two supermarkets and the river and the fort are very nearby. Room was clean and had all the little details that are convenient for travellers.
If the hotel does not reply to your message on booking.com then call them, the number leads to an English speaker. A word of advice to fellow travellers: Google has incorrect opening times for many services in Soroca and restaurants close early except for Apetit (a burger place).
I would stay here again and fully recommend others stay here too.

It was really good stay. The accomodation is clean, bed is really comfortable. The location is good, just up the street of fortress. Communication very easy. All in all, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it

Comfy compact ground-floor apartment near Soroca City Centre. Friendly owner met me after I phoned him with some help, He gave me the keys, gave me the Wifi password and showed me round the small apartment, gave me some coffee and sugar sashays, gave directions to a supermarket, a 10 min walk left from apartment down the hill and turned on the warm air condition.
We communicated via Booking.com online messager as his English is basic and my Romanian is poor. Helpful guy. Apartment has low, comfy large double bed with buvet, blanket, several pillows and bed sheets. 2 plug sockets behind the bed. Small table-like cubbard on each side of bed. Small lamp above each side of bed. Carpet on floor. En-suite small bathrom with sink and hand soap, small bin, toilet with paer and shower with hot water and shower curtain. 2 hand and 2 bath towels in bthrom. big window with curtain. Long radiator, wasn't working. Kettle in room, several paper cups. rubbish bin in room. Several shelves to put items. Small lounge in from of the main room. Has a fridge, but no plugged in, comfy leather couch. Keys to enter/exit apartment. 2 standing frames to hang clothes/coats on. Simpe comfy room.
