We enjoyed our stay and thank the 2 concierges Prajwal et Pratima for their daily hospitality. They are a key element of success for this complex. The owners are extremely lucky to have these 2 as staff and obviously must treat them very well. They make a big difference as no one else is on site to greet you except a combination number.
The apartment. we had # 8, is vey spacious has a wonderful view of the country and sea, is newly renovated with quality materials and very comfortable furniture.
We definitely recommend a car as driving is inexpensive and easy, allowing you freedom to explore beautiful sites, restaurants and even cross back to Malta island for the day with ferry service every 30’.
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Ta' Matmura B&B offers accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool and free Wifi.

Really lovely stay!! After 2 planes, a bus, a ferry, another bus it was such a beautiful retreat. I stayed here the first few days exploring around Gozo e.g., walking for 8+ hours along the northeastern coastline, bussing to all the major "must-see sights," walking so much more, and some more, and even a ride from a local woman in her car when it started to rain and I was running for shelter! Check-in was incredibly easy for me arriving after hours - the passcode was sent in an email and then an envelope with my key was waiting for me inside. The breakfast exceeded my expectations in that my dietary preferences were considered and options made available! If your choose to enjoy breakfast you'll meet all of the staff who are cheerful, kind, and helpful. The road the farmhouse resides on is peaceful and a beautiful starting point for hiking the coastline. It was too cold to dip into the pool but still lovely to see. The bus stop is about a quick 7 minute walk and easily accessible. The showerhead pressure was strong and the rooms/bed spacious. Cozy robes are provided and I was so sleepy my first night after travel I fell asleep in mine! Don't be fooled if you're looking at maps and thinking it might be "too far" from Victoria or all the sights the internet tells you to see because Gozo as a whole is really quite accessible. The bus system is easy to navigate, reliable, clean; or you can take reasonably priced ubers/cabs across the entire island in about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
Home Mood B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Għarb where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, and garden.

Outstanding property hosted by two wonderful people who truly care about your well being. The house is stunning and with only 6 rooms, it feels like it’s your own place. Claudia and Frederico are delightful
Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Ta' Klementa Farmhouse provides accommodations in Għarb. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are accessible at the villa free of charge.
Beautiful countryside with distant sea views. Very quiet and rural. Close to shops and supermarket. Bars and restaurants within walking distance. We travelled via scooter on ferry from Malta (25 mins crossing) and took just 10 mins to arrive at the hotel. Bus stops were very close to the hotel.

Gharb may not be centre of Gozo but you can manage well from there. Bus is scheduled on hourly basis from Gharb. You can walk from Mushroom stone till Zwejni Bay covering all attractions in 3-4 hours. Ta Pinu basilica is at walking distance and so is Gharb church.

If I compare Malta, gozo with other places around the world, I would not come to visit Malta at all. It's not worthed. Luckily we met every day interesting people to make our stay enjoyable. The quality of food is very poor, no development in the island. That's a pity. It could be much better, if it will be made more statt for tourism. It might be a good idea to improve it, changing the management through European people and not just from the local. The standard will not improve at all otherwise.... Anyway I don't suggest anyone to come on Malta, or Gozo. The Fotos are just made off. It's not as it's sold.

Gharb is a charming laid back Gozitan Village.
Gharb is a charming laid back Gozitan Village. There are some interesting museums, eateries, and from some properties you can see the Ta Pinu Sanctuary.
Gharb Rangers, Bar & Restuarant is a local restuarant. -
Salvina's restuarant is also in Gharb.
In San Lawrence, very close to Gharb we visited Tatitas - superb food, gracious staff and great for couples and friends celebrating a special occasion.
We ventured to Xaghra, Tal Furnar for some authetic homemade pizza and slow cooked pork.
On our last day, we had lunch at The View in Zebbug, Gozo.
There are good opportunities for walking and trekking from Gharb to Ta Pinu; from Gharb to St Dimitri Chapel and from Gharb to Wied il-Mielah.

We used Gharb as a base for our diving holiday and found the location excellent. The food and drink in the local area was a delight. Breakfast was great in the Craft Village which also included fabulous craft shops which were a joy to go into. The food and staff in Gharb Rangers Bar & Restaurant were brilliant. Tal-Massar Winery was a fab experience.

I am absolutely impressed! Everything was perfect, ranging from the lovely owners, over the location, the rooms, to the cleanliness, just everything! I’m traveling a lot and stay in hotels very frequently, but this was by far the most enjoyable experience I had over the last years!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and warm, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was delightful, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!
