We stayed in a lovely sea view room and it was great to watch the fisherman return early morning or just relax on the balcony and enjoy the view. The Receptionists always greeted us with a smile and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The choice at breakfast was good - English breakfast and veg, a choice of different breads, jams , cereals and teas - inside/ outside dining , attentive staff and a lovely view of the bay to start the day!

There are ongoing building and property developments in...
There are ongoing building and property developments in Munxar which will change it forever. Some of the developments are predictably hideous but others sensitive to the picturesque bay and surrounding environment. In fairness construction work was halted for the summer which is a good thing. When I took friends there in June it was impossible to sit on the front and enjoy the view without being covered in building dust., I found the kiosks and restaurants away from the immediate 'front line' still very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Munxar [in the summer] continues to be a pleasant place for a short break and well situated for exploring the rest of Gozo. Frontline businesses less 'local in attitude and cuisine. although the food was always quite good.
