The house has a character, the apartment is nice and spacious, it's in the middle of pictoresque Birgu. We loved it there! The owner enabled last check-in - we landed after midnight. We used jacuzzi the next day, fantastic! We left the baggage in the lobby for a few hours before we left Birgu.

Lovely apartment in great location, yes a bit dated but that added to the charm. Close by to some great bars and restaurants and close to the bus stop to get you back out to the airport and Valeeta for connections across the country. Would stay here again

It is a beautiful characterful house set on a very quiet cul de sac with foot traffic only so it is very quiet. The room (at the top of the house) was beautiful, filled with of light and a wonderful view out over the rooftops to Valletta.
Birgu is one of four cities forming the old part of Malta. A five minute walk down the hill takes you to the ferry over to Valletta where you can also catch the fast ferry to Gozo for a day trip.
There are a number of restaurants nearby all of which were great - especially Tal Petut around the corner which is outstanding.
Located in the heart of St. Julians, Alexandra Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. It features a rooftop swimming pool and a terrace with views of the Mediterranean Sea.

I have read reviews for a great breakast... It was rather poor in fact... Generally 90% of the tables were having english breakfast with awful bacon...
Delivery trucks wake you up as from dark, all day loud noise, evening a few bars next door with loud music..

The hotel is furnished to a high standard with spacious rooms and extremely comfortable beds. It is spotlessly clean and lhas added extras like Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom.
Bayview Hotel & Apartments offers a 24-hour internet café, and a rooftop swimming pool overlooking the harbour at Sliema. Some accommodation comes with a balcony, and some feature sea views.

Very modern and spotless clean hotel. The location was perfect, in a quiet area but close to shops and restaurants.

I just returned from a 17 days stay in this house, and I was really lucky with this find. You cannot find a better location in or around Valletta. The entire Vittoriosa is oozing with charm, with its narrow tiled streets just below the massive St. Angelo fortress at the end of the peninsula. I was all around the different parts of Valletta, and nothing beats Vittoriosa. It reminded me a bit of the old Jerusalem.

I am staying in Birgu for the second time.
I am staying in Birgu for the second time. A quiet, peaceful area, there are also cafes for those who want it, easy access to Valletta and other areas. For those who like to wander through the narrow streets, climb the steps, take in the views from the quays - this is the place for you.

More correctly called “Birgu”, the town is a far better place to stay than either Senglea, which is run down, or Valletta which is overcrowded. The small gondola ferries keep the hoards at bay and so Birgu is a pleasant place to be both during the day and evening. The waterfront restaurants, especially “Cargo” are excellent. The tiny streets behind the central square are beautiful at night. Recommended attractions are St Angelo’s Fort and the Inquisitor’s Palace. Secret tip: the executioner’s house is round the back, the unrestored building with the blue balcony. The only downsides are that there are no shops of any value in the town and you cannot park within the walls.

Vittoriosa and the Three cities isn't recommended for people out for partying, but if you like real old buildings in medival style, carved in sandstone, this is the right for you.
The weekend before Christmas was fantastic, with music at the City square and Santa with wife in a sleigh. Christmas cribs in a lot of the houses in the medieval valleys... is really something to experience!
