The view and surroundings are amazing, spacious room, despite multiple issues encountered the hotel manager was very supportive and took care of us in our last day. He even gave us complementary lunch and late check out on our last day. Dinner included was delightful, presentation and flavour top notch although there are limited options on the half board.

What a find! We had a wonderful stay at the chalets and felt very well taken care of. The grounds could not be more beautiful -- we loved to luxuriate in the pool with a fresh cocktail at the end of each day. While the restaurant was excellent, the chalets are also only a couple of minutes from several good restaurants in town as well. You can drive to the lovely public beaches at Le Morne within 15 minutes and there's loads of good hiking nearby in Chamarel. We cannot recommend it enough!
Located at the foot of Le Morne Brabant, this resort faces a white sandy beach with turquoise waters and offers elegant, air-conditioned suites surrounded by lush, tropical gardens.
Located in Le Morne, a few steps from Le Morne Beach, Riu Turquoise - All Inclusive has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness center and a garden.

Where do I start?
Upon arrival, I was met with an unexpectedly chaotic atmosphere- children were running and screaming through the lobby as if it were a playground, accompanied by loud, blaring music that made it difficult to feel welcomed or relaxed and communicate with your check in staff. In room amenities were disappointing: soft drinks in the minibar are only restocked every 48 hours, and there’s no room service available. The property boasts 3 expansive pools, but oddly, there’s only one designated area to exchange tokens for pool towels, which is highly inconvenient given the size of the resort. The middle pool drinks and ice cube supply also closed early and there one had to walk all the way to the main lobby bar as everything else was closed and no room service. For the all inclusive offerings- temper your expectations. Only bottom shelf, no name alcohol is served, so drink at your own risk. The resort may be rated 4 stars, but the furnishings tell another story, with particle board furniture and a bed that creaks and bangs with every movement- not ideal if you’re planning for a romantic evening. Lastly, come prepared: the bathroom provides only basic soap, and with the resort being quite isolated, you’ll want to bring your own toiletries and essentials.

this is amazing place, the view is breathtaking, the chalet is spacious, very calm, the food is satisfying and the staff is very supportive and helping.
it is ideal for a short stay as if you would like to do more tours the location is bit far from everything and very challenging to reach. the best is to stay there and visit the nearby places around Chamarel.

There are a few beautiful sights to visit, the area is very green and full of trees and wildlife. The waterfalls, hills and seven colored soils are worth seeing. The Zoo is nice, but you have to pay to see the lions and a few other areas are additional cost over the entrance ticket you pay.
There are many small restaurants to eat at where you can try the local cuisine.
It is best to hire a car and drive around yourself or to get a taxi from your hotel. with the help of google maps it is very easy to get around. The roads are narrow and not many street lights so you have too be careful.

Chamarel is a small cosy village which is not highly populated. So the houses are quite scattered and this gives the impression of space and lots of nature around. There were also many small local restaurants that serve local food which is quite affordable for most.

There are no supermarkets nor ATM, no sidewalks so you are out at your own risk amongst the crazy drivers. There is no good value place to stay in Chamarel so the attractions are best visited by sleeping somewhere else and renting a car. Don't miss 7 colour earth, cascade, Ebony forest: do them all in one go since you have to pay to get into the park that leads to all three.
