The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The location is literally on the shoreline where you have the breakfast served and you can enjoy good food.. the bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Hot shower, a kettle, a fridge and a rack. The AC and the fan on the ceiling also worked very well. Great value for the money.
They also helped me to get the ferry boat tickets from and to the airport, and arranged the pickup at no extra cost.

It was our first time visiting the Maldives. We stayed at this hotel for four nights.
A few positive moments about the island and the hotel:
1. If you pay extra, you can get a room with a beautiful view and enjoy stunning sunsets every day.
2. The room was very clean, which is expected from a 4-star hotel.
3. The live music shows were enjoyable.
However, there were several things we didn’t like:
1. Transfer: Before our arrival in Malé, the hotel offered a speedboat transfer for $50 per person (round trip) and warned that we might need to wait for other passengers. We agreed, as it seemed reasonable. However, we ended up waiting over two hours at the airport for the boat, followed by another hour sitting in a rocking boat while they gathered passengers from different flights and even locals. It felt more like a public speedboat than a hotel service. Furthermore, the hotel knew our departure date in advance but never sent any update regarding transfer times. No life jackets were provided, not even for children.
2. Food: We booked a full board package. Meals were served in a small room with only fans and no air conditioning, causing cheese, sauces, and dairy products to spoil quickly. The food quality was poor — tough meat, overcooked fish and chicken, and almost every dish was either very spicy or overloaded with black pepper. One time, my wife even found a piece of metal wire in her chicken.
3. Beach: The small, narrow beach was meant to feel cozy, but because anyone on the island could access it, including local neighbors, it didn’t feel secure. There were only 12 sunbeds for the entire hotel, which were occupied from early morning until evening, as guests would place towels on them to reserve spots and leave. While there were more folding chairs available, they were uncomfortable for spending the whole day. During high tide, the water became extremely dirty. In the evenings, we found organic waste and sometimes plastic along the shore.

Cozy beach with a beach bar. Tasty food. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The room is nice with authentic decor and comfy bed.
About 7-8 cute friendly parrots live on the beach. They are beautiful!

Dhiffushi is a beautiful island with a local population of about 1,000. It felt like the true Maldivian spirit, and the locals were friendly. The island is completely walkable, as it isn't too big. There were several hotels offering excursions at cheaper prices than resorts. We would recommend snorking with turtles and sharks, and a dolphin tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Dhiffushi Inn Hotel. From the moment they picked us up at the port with a refreshing watermelon welcome drink, we knew we were in for a treat 🥰
Our room on the 2nd floor (Room 303) was good, (see attached photo), a TV, and exceptionally clean bedding and pillows with a birthday message!
Access to the various beaches was a highlight, with Dhiffushi Inn Beach standing out for its pristine, crystal-clear waters. We also appreciated the added amenities like table tennis and access to the Stone Hotel Beach.
The food was another standout feature; we opted for the full board package with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and each meal was simply top-notch.
We highly recommend booking all three meals to fully experience their excellent and attentive service😍
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their warm hospitality, which truly made our holiday unforgettable!❤️

Stunning beaches around the whole island. Able to rent sun loungers and umbrellas at a few locations.
Friendly locals.
Lots of restaurants around the island, serving nice food!
To note - no alcohol allowed on the island and wear modest clothing around the island to respect the locals on the island.

Dhiffushi is a local island meaning people live and work there and not just designed for tourists. The transfer to and from the airport by speed boat is around 40 mins and we thought the cost was expensive. If you have 3 hours to spare there is a local ferry once most days BUT check times and dates .this ferry is VERY cheap!
Our hotel was beach front to a small "bikini beach" which means bikinis ARE permitted On the public beaches they are not allowed. There were enough restaurants near by to make the eating out a good experience.
If you are fit you could easily walk around the island . Snorkelling is good from the beach and even better on trips out to other reefs or coral gardens
