The Island: Small, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful, Kandolhu is the epitome of a private island retreat. The Resort: Thoughtfully designed with just 30 villas, the property balances exclusivity and comfort. It offers five outstanding restaurants, a stylish bar, a well-equipped gym, a serene spa, and a sea activities center—ensuring that every guest finds their own perfect way to unwind. Our Villa: We chose an overwater villa, and it exceeded all expectations. With a private pool and direct sea access, it provided the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity. Staff & Service: The essence of true hospitality is mastered here. The team anticipated our needs before we even realized them, creating a seamless, highly personalized experience. Their warmth and attention to detail set a new benchmark for excellence. Dining: A standing ovation to the executive chef, sous-chefs, and the entire culinary team. The food was fresh, inventive, and packed with flavour. With five distinct restaurants—offering Mexican-Peruvian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Sea Grill, and an all-day dining option—every meal was a delightful journey of taste. Spa: We had the 'couple ritual'. A sanctuary of relaxation, the spa at Kandolhu offers a truly rejuvenating experience. With expert therapists, soothing treatments, and a tranquil setting, every session feels like a retreat within a retreat—perfect for unwinding and embracing the island’s serenity. Housekeeping: Impeccable.

Everything was perfect, and I couldn't get anything more for the last stop of my honeymoon. When I said goodbye at my departure, I was already thinking about when to come back.

The hotel does not have room service so you cannot have breakfast in the room.

Staff are so lovely and attentive! Perfect little island with a beautiful beach and reef. The hotel restaurant is lovely with a great selection of food on the menu and the staff are fabulous. Room is cleaned once per day and unlimited drinking water provided. Hotel organised our airport speedboat transfer and activities.

The rooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. The views from the restaurant on the roof were amazing. The excursions to see and snorkel with sea life were incredible and organized well by the manager. The chef cooks delicious food of all types.

I recently stayed at Turtle Maldives, and I would like to thank the staff for their warm welcome and kindness. The guesthouse itself is absolutely stunning, with every corner thoughtfully designed and clean to provide comfort. The peaceful atmosphere and cozy surroundings made my stay so relaxing, and I could not have asked for a more serene, and a quiet environment where I was able to unwind without any disturbances. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Your team went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect, whether it was helping with special requests or offering personalized service. Thank you again for the hospitality and I look forward to returning in the future!

The restaurant and food were disappointing, the room was very basic with no tea/coffee facilities, the WiFi was poor and we were asked to move hotel on our final night as they had overbooked. Finally the speedboat transfer that we had requested a couple of months previous for 13.00 on our final day, and which we had been told was booked, wasn't booked at all and we had to catch the 8.00 instead meaning that when we got to Male we had to wait until 14.00 to check in to our hotel. Really disappointed considering all the reviews we'd read before booking, felt like we'd stayed at a different hotel. Couldn't recommend sorry!
