The on-site Baklava Restaurant was a highlight of our stay. Every meal, drink, snack we enjoyed was absolutely delicious and a good value. The hotel grounds are lovely; we enjoyed all the plantings, flowers and decor. The staff was excellent; very friendly and accommodating, and took care of anything we needed like calling a taxi, storing luggage, etc. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The in-room Wi-Fi was a little spotty, not too bad. A bit noisy because of being so close to the highway. We enjoyed walking on the beach and visiting with the oyster divers. We’d stay again!
Offering an outdoor pool, Hotel Palmeras is located in Bucerías, just 656 feet from the beach. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The studios here will provide you with a cable TV and a balcony.

Interactions with most of the staff were VERY good. We had some good meals in Bucerias which was about a 1 mile walk.

We have been coming to Bucerias for many years. We feel at home in Bucerias. There is plenty to do and lots to see. The town is friendly and safe and there are plenty of eateries. The Red Apple Place is one of our favourites and Ricardo makes a delicious Margarita! It's very easy to get around on the bus and bus fare is very cheap. Bucerias has grown and changed over the years, but it's still our favourite place to stay. The sunsets are amazing and the beach is sandy and beautiful.

I live very near Bucerias but enjoy a visit there a few times every month for a change of pace. It is experiencing a lot of growth and is not the same as it was 20 years ago but is anything? It seems to becoming a mini PV and there are obvious signs of infrastructure struggles. So go now and check it out. Some good restaurants there. Make sure you read reviews before you eat out. Enjoy!

The people were so friendly and helpful.
The people were so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and the weather wonderful
Mr and Mrs Fish was delicious and good proportions. Margaritas excellent and our waitress Stephanie was such a delight.
Italian restaurant was delicious and also Paninos Bakery was so good we were there often..
We could walk to the restaurants and into the town square and the beach. A great location.
The only issues we had was the traffic noise and the barking dogs at all hours of the day and night. The conditions of the roads was not good. Broken pavement and tiles everywhere made walking risky and dangerous

The beach in Bucerias is lovely.
The beach in Bucerias is lovely. Great place for walks, a dip in the ocean, or some seaside dining.
The plaza and downtown area are a little rough around the edges. But that's part of its charm. There are several very good and unexpected restaurants for a Mexican beach town.

We live in the Lake Chapala area where EVERYONE is friendly.
We live in the Lake Chapala area where EVERYONE is friendly. Bucerias is very tourist-oriented, so not as friendly. As gringos, our limited Spanish brought great rewards in terms of friendliness. I don't know if there's anything to do there but go shopping & sit on the beach. But, that's why we go to the beach, right?
Very surprised how few restaurants accept dogs! That's an urban vibe I can live without.

Although Bucerias is growing quickly and people are buying up property, it is still considered a nice, quiet Mexican town that you can enjoy and relax in. There are many activities to do or you can do as little as you wish. Something for everyone.

We were booking close to last minute for our stay in Bucerias and wanted to be on the beach. Coritas had availability so we booked it. Our room was ok on the ground level and adjacent to the deck area overlooking the ocean. There were lounge chairs on the beach with palapas so that was good as well. The staff were all pleasant and accommodating
No breakfast from hotel however there was a restaurant on site that was fabulous! Great service and good food, no to forget, the coffee was spot on! Location was very good. They had a golf cart for rent which made getting groceries very easy. It was also great fun!
Everything was really nice, the rooms are clean and with a lot of luminosity. The personal was so nice with me, thank you so much for this few days. I highly recommend this hostal to discover the region of Puerto Vallarta ☺️
