Beautiful jungle dwelling with many birds right outside the door. Much thought and care went into the construction of the building, rooms and pool.

This hotel is BEAUTIFUL! The rooms are pretty and I think all have a view to the jungle where from the second floor we had amazing bird sightings at sunrise. We are always looking for places to stay where we can identify birds as well as interesting locations. The Coba ruin is in a beautiful dry jungle setting. We saw a variety of never before seen birds on this trip….e.g., Gartered Trogon, Black backed Trogon

A nice experience calm and next to a cenote that you can jump into whenever you want to. Breakfast was really good but a bit expensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had an amazing time here in Coba. Location was perfect, very quiet. Room was excellent and host was exceptional. Even let me borrow his bicycle to go to into the jungle !! One of the best nights of my trip. Definitely stay here ! Congratulations on the Superbowl !!! Fly Eagles Fly !!!!
Ruins are amazing, spread out and shaded under trees.
Ruins are amazing, spread out and shaded under trees. You can bike ride and enjoy the breeze. Lots of opportunities for pictures. No breakfast or tea/coffee place close by. Better to tour ruins if you have tour guide. We saw both coba and tulum but our favorite was coba. We ate at local outdoor restaurant within 5 min of our hotel on first night. Hotel we stayed at coba Kaab closes their kitchen by 6 pm and breakfast not till 7:30. Most places in Mexico open later in the mornings. Small stores where you can buy packaged food like cookies, ramen noodles, and fresh fruit. Safe area to walk around close to hotel. Better if you can speak some Spanish with locals. They are very nice. No nightlights so be back at hotel before sun sets. Random dogs in street.. but not rabid or dangerous.. just hungry.

The coba pyramid is the main attraction. there's a small town with a few restaurants and convenience stores. We enjoyed touring Coba, and we loved the Cenotes nearby. The area is very pretty and natural. We took several car trips and enjoyed some peace and tranquility away from the tourist areas. it's not that far from Tulum so we took a few day trips to the beach.

Coba is a quiet peaceful town without the daily hustle and bustle that you find in nearby Tulum. It allows you access to Tulum (45 minutes away), Chichen Itza and Valladolid. You can visit 3 underground cenotes, a ten minute taxi ride away, which are quite different from surface cenotes in many other areas. You can also visit a small Mayan ecological, cultural presevation and education site located in a settlement of four families very near two of the cenotes. It is low key yet very informative. A small meal expertly prepared is available as well as both medicinal and nutritional preparations of honey. It is extraordinary.

The hotel is at the end of a small lovely town, away from mass tourism. It's an hidden gem, a lovely place where to unwind after a day in the Maya ruins or cenotes. It has everything you need and more. The room are massive and the bed very comfortable, the pool is pristine and so refreshing at the end of the day, and the communal spaces are spotless and very inviting. We loved it.
Wonderful staff that were very friendly and helpful with directions to ruins, cenotes, bicycle rentals and bus departure right out front of hotel.Nice big coffee in the morning and restaurant on site.
Walking distance to Coba and means you avoid the parking fee. The rooms were nice and breakfast was amazing - lovely fruit and a variety of types of main dishes to choose from on a menu.
The hotel is very pleasant, nicely decorated with a beautiful swimming pool in the middle with trees around. Easy to walk to restaurants and the arqueológica site.
