It’s a beautiful little oasis. The cabins are beautiful and rustic with air conditioning. The areas are green with lots of plant life. The rooms spacious and bathrooms beautiful. When we had issues the kind owner offered us a complementary breakfast.

The family that owns the accommodation is super welcoming and caring.
We ate several meals there and they were all delicious.

A super cool place to stay in Homun. Very friendly owner. Large, green, well kept garden. Comfortable, clean rooms with garden view. Delicious food at onsite restaurant (very quite - not accessible to people from outside). Swimming pool. A great place to spend few days enjoying nearby cenotes.

f you’re traveling to Yucatán, you absolutely have to visit Elisa and Guillaume’s stunning boutique hotel. Nestled in the heart of nature, their place feels like it was gently woven into the jungle itself—peaceful, lush, and full of life.
Every corner of the hotel reflects their thoughtful approach to design: beautifully curated spaces, built with sustainable materials and intelligent room concepts that blend comfort with purpose. It’s the kind of place where you wake up with the sounds of birds in the trees.
Elisa and Guillaume are the kind of hosts who make your stay unforgettable. Warm, welcoming, and deeply passionate about what they do, they make you feel at home and help you to find authentic places of Yucatán.

Homun is a small town with developing facilities that is at the center of the Ring of Cenotes - there are 20 or more either within or close to town limits.
It's fairly quiet and not much to do except visit the Cenotes.
One of the better places to stay is Hotel Santa Maria - it has a good restaurant, bottomless coffee refills, and a pool.

Adjust your expectations.
Adjust your expectations. Staying at Cabañas Santa Cruz feels more like a glorified tent camping rather than room lodging. Other the the Church building, there are not a lot of things to do in Homún, it’s mainly cenotes.
