the town had a nice plaza (centro) area with some good restaurants. Appeared to have a good size market area next to the plaza although we did not go thru it. Our hosts were very helpful and always contactable. It is also very accessible by public transport. We travelled from Mexico City and were able to get off the bus at Terminal La Huasteca, a 5minute walk from the property. We got the bus (ovnibus) back to CDMX from the same terminal. A perfect place to stay when visiting Grutas de Tolantongo! The only problem was our stay was too short. Ixmiquilpan is a charming spot!Guest review byGráinneIreland
