I did not know that there would be a nice Continental breakfast served. . . it was passable in a beautiful day.
My whole problem was that everything, except your call, was in Spanish with no English subtitles. .
DUH, I know, we're in Mexico. . .but we're not fluent in Spanish.
You mentioned that it would be cold (Thank goodness).
Otherwise we would have packed lighter clothing and we would have had to leave the FIRST night.
We did not know it would get THAT COLD, so after one sleepless night we left.
My husband is 6'3" and the bed and covers were warm, but so short his feet stuck out and were cold all night.
The staff and guide were very hospitable. The weather was bright and shiny in the morning and the sun thawed us out.
The fireflies didn't get the message we were coming. . .so it was very disappointing in that regard (Not your fault!!)
That, however, is the reason we came so far and paid so much.

This was the best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff was friendly and present when you needed them. They kept the property in pristine condition. The furniture in the rooms were beautiful, bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and spacious. There is a parking port if you need it. All of the plants and flowers were clearly well loved. Plenty of bird watching to be had on these grounds as well!

Manuel and Lourdes are wonderful host. They gave us a warm welcome, gave us a ride to town and fixed breakfast for us. Highly recommended!

We found nothing special in Nanacamilpa.
It was a small Mexican town.
We would not go back.
Glamping Octli was very overpriced for the experience.
The information on Octli indicated there was no food available.
But was a cook who offered some food.
The picture showed bottled water in the tent. . .not so!
We would not go back.
