The staff were very friendly and welcoming- they gave us lots of detailed information about visiting the butterflies and hot springs!
The grounds are beautiful and vast! The pool is big but looked a bit rundown- I enjoyed my dip none the less!
The food in the restaurant is amazing, quite cheap and good service! It's in a beautiful outdoor restaurant with plants and fairy lights! You can get an excellent buffet breakfast with a great choice and mimosas!!!! It was delicious!

The location... If you can cope with the steep dirt/cobbled/concrete tracks up the side of the hills, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view and nice clean rooms. Potted plants in every corner makes this feel like a home and not a hotel. The staff were very attentive and we had a great conversation with Google Translate (I am sorry for not speaking Spanish and whilst some staff spoke English, not all did).
Hot water is available all day, so we could have our regular cups of tea.

Amazing wooden cabanas, spacious and comfortable and full of character. We went in January and they had fairy lights all over - magical!
