Amid the Yucatan jungle, Uxmal Resort Maya offers an outdoor swimming pool, wading pool and free Wi-Fi connection throughout the property.

The location of the resort is great. Bedroom is clean and the resort is pleasant. The food is ordinary and simple. No glass of wine was available at the bar that evening.

The Lodge at Uxmal is located within Uxmal Archaeological Park, just a few steps from the pyramids and temples.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. The location was perfect for visiting Uxmal early in the morning before it got too hot and before the tours arrived. It is also perfectly located to make visits to the many cenotes. The pool was gorgeous. Bird watching on the property was probably my favorite.

Set a 2-minute walk from the traditional village of Santa Elena, The Pickled Onion B&B and Restaurant Uxmal features charming thatched bungalows, an outdoor pool and a restaurant.

My wife & I have been staying at The Pickled Onion for at least a few days every year (except Covid) over the last 22 years. It. We are anthropologists working with a Maya population in the area and our stay at The Pickled Onion allows us to stage our visit and set up our quarters for staying in the community. We always feel welcome and well-treated by the staff at this very conveniently located hotel. We love the elegant simplicity of the Maya-style rooms, the pool facility, breakfast, the restaurant menu and preparation. For tourists, The Pickled Onion is ideally situated to visit and explore the several nearby archaeological sites. This is the first year after the original owner has sold the property. We were pleased that the facility, staff, and offerings remain the same high quality & unique experience we have become accustomed to here. This is the place to stay in the area!

Saak Luúm Ruta Puuc features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Sacalum.

I booked what I thought was a room with three beds, and we ended up with a massive house with kitchen, living and dining room, 2 bathrooms, private balcony, and several bedrooms! Not a luxurious hotel but an awesome place, especially for the price. Lots of amenities, lovely garden and pool. We loved staying in a smaller pueblo. Highly recommended if you have a car.

Lovely pool and garden property. Helpful, young host. Willing to go out of his way to help. Breakfast of coffee, tea, pan and fruit. Good choice in the Puuc hills.

Spent about 3 hours at Uxmal site. Lots of large sites to see and you can wander at your own pace. It was my favorite of the sites we visited on the trip. Tickets and entry could be clearer and signage at sites in Mexico is always lacking, but the quality of the ruins and architecture is fantastic. The scale, intimacy of the visit, and amount of ruins is superb.

To really get to experience Mayan culture, the near by towns and cenotes and more archeological sites I would recommend a week in Uxmal . I loved every minute we were there . I would also recommend having a much spending money as possible, not because things are expensive it is that there is so much to do and it will cost money . Horse riding , vintage 4WD hire , the prices for the sites and tours has risen due to the pandemic . Also supporting local artists .

We traveled by car because my older sister has specific food needs due to ALS. A blender, two boxes of food and a cooler were graciously hauled to and from our room by the hotel staff. They could not have been more accommodating and helped to supplement her diet with fresh food from the kitchen. It was my sister's fifth and probably final trip to the awe inspiring sites of the Yucatan. We are so grateful for the experience.

Uxmal charges US citizen 4 times regular admission.

Uxmal charges US citizen 4 times regular admission. Hotel Uxmal Maya charges 33% more for using US money or cards. Do not go if you don’t want to feel ripped off. Nothing special about hotel as at every turn you have to be guarded about being ripped off.

It is a beautiful hotel, traditional but well-decorated rooms. Great swimming pool. Location is superb. Staff is very friendly. And you must have dinner here, best I had in Mexico! Sidenote: we were upgraded to the Lodge, so this is more a review of The Lodge.

Nice staff, great location just next to the Uxmal archeological site (you can see the ruins from your balcony) and Cacao museum. We enjoyed the mayan ritual temazcal, that was perfect!

The pool was big and the location just in front of the entrance to the Uxmal ruins is the big plus of this hotel.
