Rain Forest Inn is located in Bertam Valley amid the lush rainforest and cascading waterfalls. It offers locally handcrafted rooms from which views of the surrounding nature can be enjoyed.

This is such a beautiful and special place! If you want to discover this part of Malaysia and its indigenous culture, this is the place! Our chalet was made in a traditional way and was very comfortable with nice mosquito nets (no holes) and a shower with hot water. We slept so well! No need for a/c in this part of Malaysia. The included breakfast was very good, and you get to enjoy it in a beautiful spot surrounded by rainforest and a waterfall. No wifi but good cellular internet connection. If you have an e-sim, you will be fine. I highly recommend the native dinner (very tasty!) and the jungle trek. The owners and the people running the place are super friendly. They can arrange tours for you and will teach you lots about their culture. You will also have the chance to try their traditional pipe hole blowing. It was an amazing experience, and I only wish we stayed more than 2 nights. I hope to be back one day. Thank you for everything Gee Tatt!

Located on the cool climate of Cameron Highlands, The Smokehouse features English cottage-style accommodations with views of its award-winning gardens or the golf course. It has a restaurant and bar.

The lobby, Christmas decor and the selection of British food was excellent. Staff who served us during breakfast and dinner were excellent. The food was excellent. Felt Christmassy. Gardens were beautiful. Deluxe rooms were the right size. The hotel is close to strawberry farms, BoH tea plantations and golf course. Ordering a Grab is easy to go to the nearby towns. Weather was beautiful. Would love to come again. A big shout out to Lalit as he made mocktails for our children, they loved it. Rare to see someone like Lalit who clearly loves his job and enjoyed serving us. The bar is by the fireplace. Would love to book the Highland suite next time. The hotel is a must visit in Cameron Highlands. It's a gem!

The different areas of Ringlet are very interesting to visit however the traffic is a problem in the little towns. Not easy to cross the roads on a busy day. Plenty of eateries to choose from and different types of food. A fair number of atttactions including tea plantations and museums. The roads are extremely winding.

I have never chosen to stat in Ringlet prior to this.

I have never chosen to stat in Ringlet prior to this. Always either in Tanah Rata or Brinchang. But this time I did - purely because that is where the hotel - The Lakehouse - is located, So I stayed in Ringlet because of the hotel. Each part of the Highlands has different attraction and Ringlet is no exception. To me it is of course The Lakehouse. I would be happier if the Sultan Aby Bakar lake in front of the hotel is not almost covered over with vegetation - there is something magical with a lake fully visible.!
