The studio room was a decent size we had two of them.
The hotel accommodated us by putting the two rooms together which was very nice of them.
The rooms were cleaned every day and restocked with friendly staff.
The reception were friendly and helpful if needed.
The pool and sports bar area was relaxing and convenient for a drink and cooling off. It's a nice lagoon pool with landscaping in sun and shade.
We stayed 5 nights and we're generally happy with most things. We think it's reasonable value for a family on a budget.
Facing Anse Vata Beach, Chateau Royal Beach Resort & Spa features a day spa with an indoor pool, a fitness center, 2 restaurants and 2 bars overlooking the lagoon.

Great size of accoms for our group. Fantastic views. The whole family looked forward to the breakfasts.
Offering a year-round outdoor pool and stunning sea views, Nouvata is located on Anse Vata bay, 3.1 mi from the center of Noumea.

stunning ocean view, location on the street, various services (restaurant, bar, pool, garden), helpful staff, proximity to the beach, convenient non-hotel services (bus line, bank, eateries, airport shuttle)
The Stanley Noumea is located on the water’s edge in the heart of Sainte Marie Bay. The outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by sun loungers and offers beautiful lagoon views.
The water is STUNNING. sunset is Stunning. Food is very good. Over the water bungalow bathroom was huge. Swimming with turtles and straight from the back deck for 5 days.
The whole place needs a good tidying. The language barrier slows this quite a bit. There is NO AC In the lounge room, very disappointed in that for a Hilton. The bar staff were EXTREMELY SLOW. I was charged multiple different amounts for the same order. No night entertainment at all.

Perfect for a 2 night stay, to disconnect and connect with nature.
Bungalow room was appropriate size for 4 people. Clean, basic amenities all supplied.
Great balcony to watch sunrises, and sunsets.
Lots of birds and sea life to see from the balcony, we saw turtles, snakes and variety of fishes.
Bring supplies as there is no where to buy snacks and additional supplies.
Water was crystal clear, note the shark warnings so stay close to the shore line and allocated swim location.
Boat ride was 30mins, and not 10-15mins as advertised.

The View from the Beach bungalow towards the overwater bungalows was not nice because the rooms at the back
looked like store rooms they might be practical but didn't match the island style the overwater bungalows present.

Loved everything, didn't want to leave.
Loved everything, didn't want to leave. Over water bungalow was so much more than expected, every room was huge, had magnificent sea views and could even cast from devices to the two giant TVs which was handy for some after dinner viewing when all of the local TV is of course in French.

Location - saves this place, beautiful reef for snorkeling.
Manager - has no accountability for the issues we faced (got a lot of 'not my problem'
Worth the money - absolutely not.

We stayed here for two nights - staff are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is well kept and up-to-date (had usb charging ports in our room). The island is stunning and beach is right on your doorstep. Amazing snorkeling and swimming and we saw kitesurfers. The only drawback is cost of meals - the price is +++++ and since it's the only option you're a bit stuffed. I'd recommend planning ahead and bringing stuff unless you are swimming in cash.
Breakfast was included in our deal which was a relief.
Also getting here is by boat-taxi. The arrival and return are free but any trips in the middle out and back are charged.
Also be aware that weather can stymie your plans. We got a phone call one evening to say a storm was coming and there would be no boats over the weekend (our planned check out). We had the option of leaving that day or staying 2 extra-nights. Not a lot of effort into helping sort out accommodation if we returned/reduced costs etc. We ended up being able to find a room back in Noumea and heading back early- while I don't expect the staff to be weather gods it would be nice if the Hilton had a contingency plan for this type of event - perhaps opening up rooms in their Noumea branch for ALL affected.
Overall though, beautiful spot and if you chance on good weather, amazing beach, snorkeling and tropical island life. 🏝

this was one of the best stays we have ever had. what an amazing hotel. it’s like being in the Maldives but for a 1/3 of the price. we swam with turtles every day. the reef is beautiful and the staff were really helpful, they went out of their way to assist us with a few different issues (day trips gone wrong or transfers). the sunset over the water is incredible - we will be back!
Lovely facilities, gorgeous and spacious rooms, and friendly, welcoming staff, including Joles, Maria and Chavly. Staying on the overwater bungalows is an incredible experience, soo beautiful! If you are planning on staying at this hotel, I highly recommend staying on one of these!
There is a complimentary ferry included in the cost for guests that stay at the Ilot Mâitre Resort. Also, breakfast is included. And unlimited good WiFi
The Bungalow we stayed in was beautiful and clean.
We saw heaps of seas, turtles, small sharks, and schools of fish.
The interior of the water bungalow was so spacious, and the resort was so beautiful. We enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast included in the hotel package. We had a great time snorkeling and watching the beautiful sunset every evening!
The hotel and facilities have been great. Surfing snorkeling a bit of exploring all amazing. Staff was very friendly. Food was really good and an easy lunch menu and bar menu had something for everyone.
