Harderwijk was surprising.
Harderwijk was surprising. I hadn't visited the city for decades so I was pleasantly surprised of the transformation of the small lakeside town. The waterside is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect place to enjoy the sunset. The food choices are plentiful and there are enough terraces to chose from. If you like water, take a guided tour through the canals and lake, like the one from the windmill. We visited in september and the city was still lively partly because of the wonderful weather. In summertime you will have noise from the restaurants outside. The weather was warm and we need to open the window.
