Bastion Hotel Vlaardingen is just off the A4 highway and neighbours the Vlaardingen Oost train station.

Location close to our family. Entrance to hotel difficult, especially with building works all around it. Stayed twice total 5 nights. Sat nav does not find entrance.

Great location on the river South facing rooms too hot even in April - A/C older unit which was noisy Breakfast average especially hot food Our mattress was old, soft with a dip and the pillows cheap with chips of foam inside There is no gym or pool but you can walk into the small town for pizza or an ice- cream The train station is close for a trip to Rotterdam

    Maassluis is well connected by metro, ferry and bus to Rotterdam and the north of the country, and for ferries and Eurostar to the UK. It has a good tug museum, and a lively town centre with a variety of quality independent traders and bars. Many restaurants offer outdoor dining, along and on the many canals. Largely pedestrian, it's a lovely place to visit. I recommend the Cafe de Waker for it's beers and catering, there are also two independent ice cream parlours.

    Good location for catching the ferry to Uk

    Good location for catching the ferry to Uk Train station was a short 15 min walk Very clean room and common areas, Room was a great size. Bed was ok but have never slept on such a thin mattress? Overall a good experience
