Great Stay at City Hotel Winschoten!
We had a very pleasant experience staying at City Hotel Winschoten.
The location is perfect — right in the heart of town, just a short walk from the train station, shops, and restaurants. It’s a convenient base whether you’re visiting for business or exploring the area.
The room was clean, quiet, and well-organized, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, which was a big plus.
What stood out most was the warm and friendly service. The staff were welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed.
Breakfast was simple but fresh, with enough variety to start the day well.
Overall, City Hotel Winschoten offers great value and comfort.

Beautifully serene location in the south of Groningen province with excellent spacious safari tents. Comfortable beds, 4 ring gas hob and fridge, with pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery. Very hot water available in nearby shower block and washing up facility with good toilet facilities too. Very clean tent in a well maintained site that borders a wet land with great walking routes. The small campsite has an adjoining cafe selling hot and cold drinks as well as beer/wine although the centre shuts around 5pm. Super helpful staff.
