Hotel location is nice. Ten minutes walk to the beach. The hotel is nicely furbished and very clean. The small room was actually very very small. There was room just for a small double bed. Wassenaar is clearly an affluent area of NL. My Dad likened it to the Mayfair of Den Haag. Huge, beautiful houses and clean/quiet streets. Local shops are efficient and easy to find and the beach is great during the warmer months. Our highlight, and main reason for our first visit (of many) over 10 years ago, was Duinrell. You can make nice walks in the surroundings of the hotel but to go to a restaurant or to have a coffee you need to take the car. Little bit strange was that the breakfast (served on the table, no buffet) was a lot more extensive on the first day than on the second.
