    It's a very small village; just a church and some houses.

    It's a very small village; just a church and some houses. But is is quiet and yet very close to Dokkum (nearest city) and Lauwersoog (harbor to make a boat trip). Both places easy reachable by bike. In the neighborhood there are kilometers and kilometers of bicycle tours and there are also a lot of hiking trails.
