I really felt this place like my home. Don't forget to stay at this place if you are think to visit Nagarkot.

    The room, bathroom, bed, and facilities were all exceptionally clean and spotless. The hotel is modern and very tidy. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff, including the owner, are extremely friendly. We also went ziplining, which was a thrilling and wonderful experience.

    The town itself is small and very local.

    The town itself is small and very local. We came to Nagarkot to hike, enjoy nature and get away from the noise of Kathmandu. We ate meals at The Fort. We walked into town to view the sunset but spent no time there other than watching the sunset.

    The hotel and grounds are lovely, with beautiful views of the Himalayas in the early morning. However the property is somewhat isolated, being located all by itself on the mountainside. So there is nothing much to do there and nowhere really to walk to (Nagarkot not being much of a town to begin with) Also the swimming pool and hot tub is indoors in a rather unpleasant, humid, glass-encased room. It is also an odd shape, so as to interfere with lap swimming,

    I stayed in the Hotel Prem Durbar Hotel & Nagarkot Zipline.

    I stayed in the Hotel Prem Durbar Hotel & Nagarkot Zipline. The hotel has excellent location. I was given a room with an excellent City view especially during night. The Front Office Manager Mr. Santosh Timilsina was very friendly, warm and exceedingly helpful. I enjoyed my short stay there.

    Service, staff, rooms, view, Spa facilities, restaurant & bar, round the clock service was all Very Good. The property despite its terrain has been designed in a very user friendly way. Suggest you go in a group of at least 4-6 persons. or it can get boring. Not much to do around except trekking trails and long walks and yoga in the park. One can visit the city of Kathmandu and Pashupatinath temple. But if you are alone or a couple it can get a little lonesome. Excelent venue to get away from the madding crowd.

    Definately will go back next time we are in nepal. The family was really nice and welcoming my daughter played with their daughter sometimes. It is in a perfect location, for example if you ride the local bus for a little bit then you will end up in the city of nagarkot to do the panoramic hiking trail. Just a short walk from the home stay is the suspension bridge and if you walk just a little longer you will find a beautiful waterfall. One last thing, this is only an opinion, but they had a dog that my daughter really loved.

    Sambar was a great host at this cosy hotel in Nagarkot. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The food was great (esp the set breakfasts and the thukpa) and the room was clean and comfortable. No heating, but Sambar gave me an extra fleece blanket and I bought a hot water bag from the local pharmacy (and some fleecy socks from a local shop). I did a couple of hikes with Sambar’s brother, Krishna, who was a great guide. They both provided musical entertainment on a couple of nights and were surprisingly good!

    Lovely comfortable bed and hot shower (rare in Nepal usually tepid). A nice hotel in rural location. 20 minute uphill walk to village shops etc. 5 minute walk to view sunrise (well worth seeing). Owner wil advise for walks ranging 1 hour to 4 hours, some you can just get bus back up. Also roof terrace for sun and hanging washing if needed. Suggest use InDrive app for taxi to and from. I paid 800 to Bhaktapur, 900 up to Nagarkot and 1400 back to Kathmandu 1hr 20min. The buses take ages.

    Kishor and his family have an amazing house with a wonderfull view and it's very close to Nagarkot. He is an amazing host, very nice and helpfull: we arrived too late in the evening with the bus, we called him and he came to pick us up with 2 motorbikes! If you want to live an experience 100% nepalese, far from the crowd of the big cities, this will be perfect. The view can be amazing and the food was really good. We spent only one night there but for sure we will be back!

    The room was very comfortable with amazing view! the food in the restaurant was also very good The location is not so close to the Nagarkot center so there is not much to do outside the hotel but i enjoyed walking outside in the village seeing the locals and the beautiful views
