I enjoyed my stay. Annette & Steve were excellent hosts. The food was your standard pub fare and was ok. My biggest sook was the TV. Seriously, it needs an upgrade.

This is a charming Nineteenth Century wooden house in a pretty garden, five minutes walk to the Main Street. The hosts were solicitous and welcoming and provided drinks on the terrace and a sumptuous breakfast on beautiful china. Cute little balcony overlooking the garden.

Set in Akaroa, within 300 metres of Akaroa Beach, Waterfront 2-bedroom apartment with car park offers accommodation with air conditioning.

We have been traveling throughout Australia and NZ, this was, so far, the best apartment we have booked. Fabulous location with views overlooking the bay, close to all the amenities and very well equipped for self catering. A nice relief from dining out each night. Nothing to dislike

Akaroa is a lovely little town and worth visiting but there is not a great deal to do particularly if the weather is cool. The French bakery is superb, baguettes and pastries delicious. The Akaroa locals are friendly.

    Akaroa is beautiful.

Akaroa is beautiful. The hospitality and people are excellent - such a shame they have lost thousands of cruise ship visitors to nearby ports. It is a stunning location and exceptional restaurants ( Ma Maison in particular was outstanding) Recommended 100% Please visit - the community relies on tourism heavily and has so much to offer.

The position and view was great We had an issue with the unit.we requested and paid for a 2 people unit but ended up in a 4 people unit which meant the second queen bed took up all the lounge .the dining area 2 . 3 m x 2 .3 became the living / dining unbelievably cramped We were celebrating our 49th anniversary We would advise everyone to double check that they get what they requested Not happy campers

It is a lovely seaside town with a great bakery, a few restaurants and a reasonable beach. The Akaro Beachfront motel is the best place to stay. Do also visit the Giant's house and (if you have time) the free museum. Also go on a penguin tour!!

Akaroa is a beautiful quaint seaside town. Has a lovely harbour surrounded by hills. Only 1.5 hours from Christchurch so it is great for a mini break away. There is lots to do from being very active to just enjoying the peace and quiet of the area.
