Situated in Greymouth, 33 km from Greymouth Railway Station, Ahaura Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant.

Susie offered a level of hospitality that you don’t see much of anymore, you are made to feel like one of the family, while staying in a great 150 year old pub. Off street parking, bike riders in particular will love this place.

Featuring apartments with a private patio and lovely views of the Apostles Ranges, Apostles View Motel is just 10 minutes’ drive from Rapahoe Beach.

An older style of motel, but spotlessly clean and nice furnishings in the room. Good to have a separate toilet and there was air fresheners. Right by the road, but not too much traffic, so the noise was not a problem.

A perfect spot to stay before starting the Paparoa Track.

A perfect spot to stay before starting the Paparoa Track. Staff were helpful, meals were lovely and the shared bathrooms were spotless! Single duvets tended to slip off bed as not enough tuck-in and only one reading light but beds were comfy, location was quiet so very satisfied with the room.

    Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had dinner there which was super tasty. Excellent breakfast included in the price and a bonus if you are heading off to do the Paparoa Track as we were. Blackball itself is a cute wee town and worth a visit in itself.
