Gizzy is an awesome town to experience if you have never been there before. Lots to do especially walking, kayaking, swimming, surfing and exploring. Enjoyed the drive to Gisborne from Havelock North.
Enjoyed the drive to Gisborne from Havelock North. Liked the city. People were very nice, friendly and helpful. Liked the park areas, botanical gardens, the harbour area. Chose the wrong place to stay. We ate at The Lone Star on the harbour the first night then the second night at CRK -Crawford Road Kitchen, excellent! Both had very nice staff.
