We were travelling through Moeraki as part of a long road trip of the South Island, and this cute tiny stay appeared in the search. It's in a great location, has everything one would need, and best of all - there are two highland cows in a paddock right behind it. For some reason these became my favourite things on the NZ trip.

Lovely very helpful couple. I loved the atmosphere and being up among the trees. It was very clean and comfortable with everything you need provided. Good value.

The separate kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of cushions and coverings.
There was hardly any road noise despite being on highway.
A small, but adequate bathroom.
Overnight rate is very good.
How tidy people's property's. Super friendly people.

Four square store well stocked, and easy to get around.
Hampden pub was nice to eat and relax for the whole family. They have games for kids to play, pingpong, table tennis and fus ball.
