Brilliant accomodation, the settlers was lovely and comfortable, beds were bliss. They were so lovely taking us at short notice at 9pm at night, after failed accommodation in Kerikeri and having to drive straight thru to Whangarei

Great place, great location and great hosts!
Lorraine and Gerald certainly went out of their way to make our stay feel like a home away from home.
The room was large and airy and the bed was very comfortable. Air con in the room as well which was very useful at times.
Breakfast is served in a guests only dining / sitting room which also has a small kitchen area that is very well equipped. So, if you are like us and don’t want to eat out every night, there is ample facility to prepare a snack type meal using the microwave provided.
There is ample parking.
It is only a short drive into Whangarei with all the amenities that the place has to offer, but is far enough away to be totally private and secluded.
All in all, full respect to Lorraine and Gerald, you’ve nailed it!!
