The location was fine. Miller's Flat is a little isolated community and there don't appear to be any shops locally. There was a pub/restaurant across the river, so all was not lost. The kitchen facilities were great with all the amenities that could be wanted.

Location for us was fantastic as we were biking the Otago trails.
Breakfast was really nice and plenty to keep us going on the trail until our next stop.

Had an amazing stay at honey cottage! All the little things are taken care of, just turn up and enjoy yourself. Super comfortable bed, great shower and awesome hot tub. An added bonus the honey tasting and the complimentary honey to take home! Views are exceptional over the farmland and hills surrounding!

The park is off the main road, but easy to find, it's a very pretty area , it had well tended grounds, very friendly staff. Although not super modern, it was very clean, well equipped , very comfy beds, everything worked .the area was super quiet , quality furnishings, internet was fast and reliable. Extremely good value for money, it had a wide easy to get into bath , with very hot water ,I don't like showers this was a bonus. The shower also worked fine.
Not that much in Millers Flat itself - although Fagans Cafe...
Not that much in Millers Flat itself - although Fagans Cafe is well worth a stop - however Millers Flat provides an excellent base for exploring the rest of the area whether that be the cycle trail, or fishing on the Clutha or Lake Onslow.

This is a good location for those not able to fit in a cycle...
This is a good location for those not able to fit in a cycle of the full Clutha trail. It enabled us to complete two single-day rides one east and one west of the accommodation. The accommodation is actually in Ettrick, very close to Millers Flat but we drive back to the village and rode from there. We also used the community pool here at the end of a hot day on the bike.
