Great little bach with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views of the beach. We loved the big windows that opened up onto the deck and the kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare a few nice meals. We loved having the trail right outside our door for walking or biking and the seabird center just minutes away. Do yourself the favor of going to see the birds 2 hours either side of tide coming in. Out of this world experience seeing thousands of godwit and oystercatcher!

The space and design of the apartment are so restful. The view is wonderful and the hosts so welcoming. We had the best sleep ever and a great hot shower. The apartment is less than 10 minutes drive to the Shorebirds Centre and there is a fantastic fish restaurant on the road beyond the centre, Kaiaua Fisheries.

Wonderful host, full of personality and genuinely wanting to spend time with her guests. Very comfortable bed and clean. Lovely home cooked 3 course dinner and plenty of options available for breakfast. Quiet countryside location with adorable dogs. Super helpful with giving me a lift back into the Hunua ranges area. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay thank you!!
