Located in the center of picturesque Napier, this luxurious 5-star hotel is located in the center of the Art Deco Precinct.

The hotel was situated in a beautiful historic building, which has clearly been cared for. All the staff that we met were wonderful people, and made us feel very welcome.

Located in Napier’s vibrant inner harbor area with views over the marina. Selected accommodations includes a 2-person spa bath except for the access studios.

When you stay in “round house”(65,66)Music booms from the bar on the ground floor. It happens at 4am today. You can feel the building is shaking. And the facilities are old and moldy.

The place was perfect. The deluxe premium studio was enormous, well appointed, super clean. The Manager and staff were amazing. Very helpful and accommodating. Parking was easy. The breakfast was one if the best we have had in quite awhile. Well done Swiss-Belhotel and thank you.

We live near Seattle, WA and love staying in cities on the water! Napier is a great walking city with sidewalks that meander along the beach. They have a very interesting museum, detailing the earthquake of 1931 and how the city was rebuilt. It's known as the Art Deco City.

Napier is a beautiful Art Deco town with lots of history including the earthquake of 1931. Lots of beautiful old buildings and houses. Great information from the Isite and Art Deco centre. The Aquarium on Marine parade is excellent and a must do.

    Always friendly and clean.

Always friendly and clean. Art Deco tour a must do and the drive to the Bluff lookout. We arrived just as the Market was closing but there were still plenty of fruit and vege stalls to check out anyway.

A lovely city to visit, lots to do & see both in Napier and the surrounding Hawkes Bay area. Gannet Safari a must during the summer months. An amazing variety of vineyards in the area with wine tasting & great restaurants. Art Deco architecture is Napier. Weekend Farmers markets in Napier and other areas nearby. Great galleries if you are into art. Very pleasant walk with gardens, sculptures & playgrounds for children along the seaside & grab a gelato on the way. A visit to the Aquarium is a must.

For the Art Deco and history buff Napier has it all.

For the Art Deco and history buff Napier has it all. A visit to the Art Deco centre is a must do. Take the Art Deco guided tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide. The neighbouring free museum has a range of areas covering the history of Napier. Both the Art Deco centre and museum are free to go to.

An older Art Deco town where its great to just walk around the town looking at the buildings and shops or using the walkway to meander up and down the beach. Very nice restaurants and a variety of different shops. A free museum that houses and exhibit about the earthquake that devastated Napier at one time. Very well done.

Breakfast not provided with room. Due to lack of accommodation in Napier, Ballina was the only motel/hotel with a room. A another couple staying at Ballina had a much better rate for 3 nights at $430, where we were charged premium rate at $324 for a single night.

The hotel arranged a fantastic scenic room for our first visit to Napier. The hotel is very clean, the front desk is friendly, and it's within walking distance to the city center, making shopping convenient. I would highly recommend it.

Stylish and beautifully presented hotel with some lovely original features but all mod-cons. Great location in the centre of Napier close to restaurants and shops. Loved the upstairs terrace for a pre-dinner drink (brought our own!)
