We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place facing the marina. Waking up to views of the water and boats was just amazing – truly a peaceful and picturesque setting. Inside, everything was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Both bedrooms had their own en-suites, which was a great touch and made the stay even more comfortable. Collette was absolutely lovely and welcoming, and Andy was prompt and clear with all his communication. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us – we’d love to come back!

It was great but we were there in the tail of a cyclone . Power went off limiting the water supply etc . Really it was fantastic as far as humanly possible

Everything is lovely. So beautiful and cosy and everything you need has been thought of.
Unfortunately a semi-cyclone passed through so made for a few wild windy nights!
Gorgeous location and such a tranquil spot.
My daughter loved the ice-creams left for us in the freezer, thanks :)

These were generous hosts who had thoughtfully provided many extras. Really as good as bed and breakfast with eggs, butter, milk, honey and other condiments. The outdoor seating allowed for getting shade or sun throughout the day and the views were lovely. The hosts were easily available and very responsive to any requests. Beach close by and many beautiful places to visit by car or walking.

The view was great and having lots of space was awesome. Loved the spa.
The bed was very comfortable.
Beautiful accommodation with stunning views. The water is at the end of the garden with boats wandering past.
Very clean and nice deck to sit out on
Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great location, and cute little place.
Great location, and cute little place. The interior had just been painted shortly before we arrived, so we had fresh paint fumes and some mess to put up with. Curtain in the bedroom fell down as it wasn’t affixed properly after painting. Cleanliness was the only issue - fridge vegetable bins had not been properly cleaned (hairs and food debris), cockroach in kitchen, and bed quilt had stains (makeup?). We note that previous reviews for this place. also comment on cleaning. New carpet but doors binding. Not what’s expected for $500 per night but I’m sure these things can be easily fixed and the experience will be great.

We really enjoyed our stay here, hosts were great, Nespresso machine and milk in the fridge on arrival along with cookies which Jan dropped off to us. Views were lovely and we enjoyed eating our meals outside looking over the Whangarei harbour watching boats and birds. You can walk along the shoreline at low tide and great swimming at high tide. The accomodation was well equipped and very clean. Local cafes were great and only a short drive to Ruakaka beach. We will stay again.
