Very easy place to stay. Comfortable bed. We didn't use the pool or spa as it would have meant asking where it was and how to get there, we didn't want to intrude. A description or map inside would have been good.

The room was easy to find and comfortable. Way more spacious than I thought it would be as well. I only stayed for one night but spent the morning after at the pool and it was such a surreal experience. Such a beautiful place. The resort was high up so we got a view of the beautiful trees and the sea.

Probably not a popular destination compared to others on the island, suited us though.
Good range of shops. The Woolworths supermarket was a bonus as far as buying groceries for the motel room. The RSA is a friendly destination, and provided takeaway meals for the weary traveller to take back to their motel. Some nice fashion shops worth a look too.
A minor hassle was the amount of road noise heard in the motel room (probably sounded louder with the motel being situated uphill a short distance from the road). Not a problem at night.

Close to regular buses going to Onetangi and other direction to Oneroa and ferry. Ostend has seating’up town’, shade under sail with tables and grass under foot, big interesting Saturday market, large RSA,Woolworths supermarket, clothing shop and interesting boutique style gift shop, several more and a petrol station and eating out places. It’s pleasant walking around paths off road, the odd local has put a seating bench outside front gate for the public- beautiful views of sea.Easy short walk to The Causeway and moored old quaint boats. Our family group came for family wedding, stayed at Waiheke Motel in four studios, Ostend.Awesome.

One large Countdown Supermarket.
One large Countdown Supermarket. Some eateries and takeaways
Many local vineyards. We had lunch at Stonebridge Vineyard, it was excellent.
Afterwards walked Onetangi beach which we understood to be a World Heritage Beach.
Our stay was all too short. We will certainly return to this accommodation for a longer period.
Waiheke is a beautiful, picturesque island and only a 40minute ferry ride to City centre of Auckland

I loved the beaches , scenery and wineries most of all.
I loved the beaches , scenery and wineries most of all.
The unsealed windy roads can be difficult to negotiate in places.
The food and wine was excellent although very expensive.
One of the restaurants at Ostend beach did not display prices of cabinet food and ice creams so was disappointed when discovered how expensive it was. I paid $6 for waffle cone icecream with a tablespoon of ice cream which disappeared into the cone!!

So much to see and do.
So much to see and do. A few things we didn't get to as we hadn't realised you need to book activities well in advance. We were lucky to get a snorkel booking in, we almost missed that opportunity.
So many vineyards .. do visit as many as you can as each one has a different character. Do plan to see the outdoor art exhibitions as well, but do book these - we couldn't visit the Sculpture Trial as they were fully booked :( E-Bike your way around the island .. total treat!
The island is very pet friendly .. took our pooch with us everywhere we went and she was always welcome.

The view! Such a magical location, very clean and comfortable chalets that were perfect for a relaxing getaway. Steve was incredibly helpful and kind and made the logistics of our trip very easy. Although in a more remote area of the island, it was still only 10 minutes from town (Ostend) so we really had the best of all Waiheke worlds - but if you want to explore, definitely take advantage of the hire car. Will be thinking about those big windows that overlooked the water for a very long while.
Lovely bed and bedding, milk & necessities for tea & coffee, nice shower and kitchen. Sitting out area with pears and lemons growing. Handy location for Ostend with good supermarket. Easy parking. Friendly hosts. Pool and hot tub available tho we stuck to the beaches. Stayed an extra night.
The location was great with a nice view of the water and the surrounding area.
Driving to the nearby attractions was also easy and quick due to the close proximity to Oneroa & Ostend.
The fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely extra touch from the host.
Location was fantastic, close to bus stops, supermarket, cafes and the Saturday Ostend Market was only a minute walk away. The cottage was great, rooms very comfy and the shower's water pressure very well appreciated by all.
Beautiful gardens and great location. Walking distance to Palm beach and Ostend shops. Good shared kitchen and dining facilities and outdoor under cover seating.
