The bed was like sleeping in a hammock for two. The toilet door was a shower curtain, the bathroom window and blind were filfthy, hair in shower drain, poor lighting and mildew on net curtains.

Beautiful very large accommodation with lovely grounds in a quite country area.
The kitchen was stunning with modern equipment, everything you would need, just as stated.
The bed was very comfortable, nice lighting throughout and lovely decor.
A good bathroom and shower plus a second toilet in its own room.
Parking was right outside in another large area.

Room was great. Floors cold. Curtains need to be blackout and fitted properly as security lights shine in. Location near bar and restaurant handy. Busy driveway to campground behind.

I have never been to Rangiora - although I am a Kiwi and have been to Christchurch many times. Rangiora seemed a vibrant little town with some great little boutique shops - very impressed and very clean. Only wished we had one more day to explore.

Fall in love with the beautiful town and its friendly people we went home and sold up and we now live here.
Great eateries, shops, parks not far to Christchurch or the airport. Markets, gigs, beach, Ashley river and more.

Rangiora has boutique shops, pharmacy, banks, lots of grocery options. Petrol stations for gas, diesel, lpg. Town of 20,000 means all amenities. Pool for family, River for dogs or family.
Sea close by for a swim or sunbathe, sunscreen needed.
Mt Grey or Thomas for walks.

An absolutely awesome place - halfway between Rangiora & Kaipoi so perfect
Country feels but close to the towns
Owners are friendly and delightful people
Supplied fresh eggs for breakfast
A converted barn and renovated so beautifully
Wood fire kept the place very cosy plus several heaters
Location is great, hotel is perfect, owners are very nice, nice personal touches in the form of greeting note and chocolates and great communication. Cooked breakfast option would be nice for a $200+ a night room but not necessary. All in all a good stay. Thanks.
Nice size unit. Comfortable, clean and had everything you needed. We were greeted with a big smile and had a good service ftom the owner. We will come back if we are in Rangiora again.
- Spacious accommodation near the excellent Plough Hotel
- Hardworking, friendly management
- Immaculately clean rooms
- Plenty of off street parking
- Excellent value
