We loved loved loved Sumner Bay Motel! Tony and Sophie were wonderful hosts, our spacious, well-appointed, urban-vibe room with a balcony was amazing, and the beach and restaurants were just a hop and a skip away. Our highest recommendation!

Martin and Verity were great hosts, friendly and considerate. We had a guest suite on lower level to ourselves and access to a nice living/dining room area and outdoor spaces including a hot tub and rocky shoreline. Kayaks were available that we did not use as we choose to relax and unwind during our last day in NZ. We stayed 2 nights and had the 3 course dinner which was excellent.
