Great location as we used this as a base to do a bit of exploring. The grounds of the property were beautiful and it was so quiet. Every little extra was provided and the hosts were very friendly.

The location was a perfect start to our Northland journey of memories We liked everything about Kotare House especially our Kakariki Room which had stupendous views out over the ocean and bush and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The art works were amazing and a real point of difference which helps make Kotare House stand out for us. That and the conversation we had with our hosts about the "Kiwi Bridge"

Location was good, just 3min to the beach and shops. Tahi Lodge was an excellent choice, neat and tidy and equipped with everything you need for a comfy stay. Lauren is an excellent host, friendly and always available for requests. Liked the breakfast cereals with a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, jams and bread. The icing on the cake was the amazing ocean views from Tahi Lodge.
