Alan, the host was exceptional, the most kind hearted and generous person we’ve come across in our travels, he went above and beyond. We were free to roam around the property as if it were our own, the dogs were a joy as well. Highly recommend staying there, it’s far enough to be secluded but at the same time you’re just 15 minutes from the city.

This place is quite old school-definitely Scottish as all get out. Room basically looked like something out of the 50s in Glasgow-completely out of date & a bit small. Wifi barely worked. As I was only overnighting on my way to Queenstown, not a big deal & the location in the centre was convenient. I do give credit to the front desk clerk as I missed that I needed to reserve parking for my rental in their small lot but she said there was an open space or two & since I was only staying overnight she let me park there gratis.
