From the moment we were met on the road til we finally said goodbye, it was wonderful. They made sure our tires were deflated enough to negotiate the sands and ensured we were comfortable to drive in those sands. The welcome mint drink was refreshing and the food, both breakfast and supper, was delicious. The evening sitting by the fire under the stars was very serene.
As a bonus, from our point of view, the other tent on the property was not occupied during our stay so we had in effect a private camp.
Getting dressed up as a Bedouin couple on the last morning made for some memorable photos.

Great family run camp. Obaid and his family were very hospitable and helpful. This was also a great place to stay with kids since most other camps don't have tents that are big enough for four or more people. There are lots of activities (Obaid sends a whole list of activities when you book).

The tents are very authentic, the beds are big and comfortable. The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

This is a very well equipped campsite, easily accessible by a 2WD car.
The food is great, the fireplace in the evening is cosy, the private pool is clean and the whole environment is like in a boutique hotel. The staff book the SUV for you to watch the sunset in the desert - the service is top on.
We’ve stayed with 2 little children and everything seemed enjoyable.
P.S. Don’t get scammed by the drivers who are hunting the tourists offering their services - the Alsaif camp has built the perfect road, the supervisor provides you the detailed instructions, so you won’t get lost.

Hamoods place is one of the most outstanding places I've ever been to. He invites you to relax on the terasse, drink tea, and enjoy the desert. During the trips, you learn a lot about the life there. He shares his experiences, culture, and his personality with you. The sunset and sunrise are stunning, and the food is exceptional. I loved the time there, and I am so grateful for it! Shukran gazilan Hamood!
