Spending a night in the desert was amazing. We left our car at a designated parking area and were picked up by the owner (5 OMR). We were the only guests that day. The food was good, and the staff was very nice and helpful. The huts were nicely decorated but had no air conditioning, so at times, it got very hot. We went sand drifting, which was incredible, and ended the day with a campfire and stargazing.

Very nice and relaxing—truly a great experience! The staff definitely deserve a raise for their professionalism, responsiveness, and kindness. The food was excellent as well! We also enjoyed an evening fire, which was incredibly relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and the private bathroom had all the necessary equipments.

WOW!! I can't recommend this place enough. Staff were amazing and a big shout out to Hamdan who was just brilliant. The camp is fantastic, food was brilliant and the stars at night were mesmerising.
Sama Al Sharqiyah Camp is situated in Al Wāşil. Outdoor seating is also available at the luxury tent. There is a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen equipped with kitchenware.

We had some troubles to reach the camp with our 2wd car. Thanks to Hamid we finally reached the camp. Although there was no other people, but us we spent an emerging evening with delicious dinner. We had fruits and coffee, we did some stars gazing, we enjoyed the fire. Hamid did for us delicious bread on the fire. Evening was great. Thanks a lot.

This is a properly remote desert camp with no electric lighting and no generator. Very peaceful. Salah, the owner, is a great host. The food is great and the tents are very comfortable. A very relaxing place to be.
