The host was fantastic, easy to communicate with. Great facilities and overall nice experience. Best part is that it’s a small camp with only 2 tents so plenty of privacy and quiet to enjoy the desert. Best experience dune bashing and sleeping under the stars!

We had an amazing stay at the camp. It is located on top of a dune, rather than in the valley as most other camps are, so we had a direct view of sunset and sunrise right from our door step. Our host Salah met us in town and guided us in, otherwise we could not have found the place. Driving up the dune was a challenge, even in a 4x4, but Salah was able to help out.
It is the last camp, so it is very quiet, and there are only 5 tents. We were lucky to be the only ones staying there so we had the whole place to ourselves. Each tent has a verandah to hang out in and there is also a very nice and airy common seating area.
Salah and his staff were very friendly and helpful. They made us a delicious dinner (the best we had in our entire stay in Oman!), expecially the mutton mishkak. Salah also told us many stories of the place.
The kids had a great time playing in the sand and sandboarding down the dunes, while we relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.
Would highly recomend! Would go back again some time!
