The location of this property was really good and the room was big. It had everything we needed.
Unfortunately, we were woken up 2 out of the 4 nights by loud music that we assume was coming from the rooftop bar.

We loved everything about the property. It was beautiful, grand and elegant. We decided to stay at W Muscat because we wanted a short paradise getaway, and the hotel provided us just that. The pool and bar areas were beautiful (though I wish it had deeper sections). The room was bright, comfortable and spacious. Everything was spotless and clean — not just the bathroom, bathtubs and rooms but all of the facilities.
We came during Eid holidays, and they were very helpful in letting us know information about food and alcohol rules at the time. The restaurant and Siddharta bar were aesthetically pleasing and beautiful. We tried an Iftar Buffet and two days of breakfast. Frankly, the Iftar buffet was disappointing, as most of the food was just ok and kind of cold. We would not recommend the Iftar buffet, but would recommend you to try the breakfast once. Just your typical breakfast, but the pastries and desserts saved it! Amazinggg danish pastries and sweet things.
Service was top notch, the housekeeping, front office, waiters and waitresses. Safe to say, apart from the food, we had a smashing time at W Muscat!

An enchanting Arabic jewel, Muscat was already an important port in the 1st century. With a strict building code that imposes respect to heights and styles, the city has developed a harmonized and traditional look that makes it irresistible. Don’t miss the traditional Muttrah Souq marketplace, considered one of the best in the region.
The city is actually composed of three towns: Muscat is the walled Old Town where royal palaces are located; Muttrah includes the old and new harbours and the Corniche seafront; and Ruwi is the commercial and diplomatic area. Check out the Muscat hotels map on Booking.com and choose your preferred location!
The city is surrounded by the Western Al Hajar Mountains, and the crystalline waters and sandy beaches of the Arabian Sea. Staying in a Muscat hotel on the beach is a great way to enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Oman views.
The modern and elegant Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is one of the largest in the world. Don’t miss the twin forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani, and the Qasr Al Alam Royal Palace.

Nice city to explore, if you have enough spare time. The good things, it's nearby from Abu Dhabi, UAE. It takes around 5 hours driving on the road. Many good places that you need to visit, when you're going to Muscat and moving around the city.

Great city - always a pleasure to be here in such a friendly and helpful atmosphere. Some of the roads seem to suggest the earth might be flat after all, but the Oman Museum outside Nizwa is SPECTACULAR and a must see destinatioin!

Typically Middle Eastern - if you have been in the region before then everything is as you would expect, including overall safety, welcome and politeness. Not as hassly / hustly as, say, Turkey, Most everything dual signed in Arabic and English and everyone i encountered spoke English to a greater or lesser degree. Minimal need to use google translate. Food, coffee, sweets, bakery is as you would expect from the area. Nice and warm, nice beach and beach park. Public transport is limited - buses - and who ever knows where they actually go, so feet and taxi is the transport. Taxi's inexpensive compared to UK - cigs, food, drink etc all lower costs. Nice relaxing place - no high vibes, almost a beach resort feel but also a city - spread out, wide roads, large spaces, plenty of eating, dining, coffee shop options. 5 days is adequate.

One of the best resort in Oman. We spent here out last 4 nights for relax and everything was perfect. Al Husn hotel is adult only and has own private beach. Whole resort has many restaurant, you need to book the dinner. The newest Indian restaurant was amazing and delicious. All staff ware excellent and very helpfull. Also scuba diving is perfect. Extra divers Qantab are amazing and underwater life is amazing in Oman. We really enjoy it and come back soon.
The bed, the staff, and the atrium style of hotel floors inside was nice. We availed breakfast as well and the items were great tasting, though a bit pricey. Location is perfect and all must places to visit in Muscat are nearby, like Qurum beach, mutrah view point, bandar al rodah, al amerat hills, ghubrah beach, oman malls, and grand mosque, etc.
Everything. We started and ended our trip in Oman in this hotel. Staff are extremely kind and professional, they saved the coat that we forgot on our first visit. The room is big, clean and nicely decorated. The location was also convenient, since it is close to airport. All in all, great hotel and we hope we will come back.
the rooms are very clean, modern, and comfortable. The Hotel is also close to the grande Mosque and not far from the airport, so a great place to start you trip in Oman.
Absolutely everything. By far one of the best hotels and working staff and services we ever came across. If you are visiting Oman this is the absolute must stay hotel.
