Beautiful spacious room with kitchenette allowing us to make sandwiches for lunch and even a pasta meal for dinner. Spotlessly clean, fresh, and modern. The hotel has stunning views of the bay, and the pools are nice.

Beautiful location just above the beach with panoramic views of the islands in the Boca Chica bay. Super engaged and friendly owner Brad who was ready to support with every request. He put in considerable effort to charter a boat and get other guests interested for a special snorkeling tour to Islas Secas which I highly appreciated.
I loved the spacious bungalow on the garden edge with a nice terrace overlooking the sea and garden.
For wildlife enthusiasts the garden and surroundings are filled with visiting wildlife including monkeys and lots of bird species.
Plenty of nice restaurants both on walking distance or alternatively a short drive to the village.

The place is really amazing. You are 100% in contact with nature but the rooms are cosy, clean and essentials.

It’s so beautiful and the bungalow was perfect. We were there in the off season so kayaks were included which was a bonus. The wildlife was incredible and the sea so warm. We saw dolphins out on the kayaks as well as flying fish and birds. Then capuchin and howler monkeys and iguanas around the grounds. The food in the restaurant was brilliant (LOVED the fish tacos) and the pool area was very pretty.
We also walked in to Boca Chica which is a super cute fishing village and had some fresh fish at a local cafe. All in all it was fantastic.
El Regalo Resort offers beautiful accommodations, a private beach near by, stunning views of the Gulf of Chiriqui, an infinity pool and a full service restaurant and bar.

Off the beaten track - stunning location surrounded by nature. Great place to relax and do very little. Excursions expertly managed by Jenni if you want some activity. ( recommend the islands/ snorkelling trip and kayaking)

Very friendly owner and stuff, very spacios, birds and monkeys in the trees in the backyard, close to the ocean. The owner arranged a trip for us and the captain took us directly from the resort. They also put in our room a crib for the baby and was very good.
Featuring free WiFi an outdoor pool, Roxy Fishing Club offers pet-friendly accommodation in Boca Chica. Free private parking is available on site.

Good value for your money, good location, there was howler monkeys right in the tree by the pool The pool area was nice. Staff were nice. Did the island hoping your highly recommend it was well worth the cost.
Very isolated part of Panama. You can find decent food at the various resorts. They need a better market in the little village area. Something as simple as sunscreen could not be purchased. They also did a little hassling with me on the parking sitch (you have to pay parking in the village to take a boat ride - kinda lame), but I'm not going to make a big deal out of a few dollars.

Small fishing village where island boat tours operate from.
Small fishing village where island boat tours operate from. We did a three island day trip where we visited three islands with approximately 1 hour stay on each.
We had lunch at La Costa, and La Promesa both were good and reasonably priced $$. We also had dinner at Bocas del Mar which is a Resort Hotel with an upscale restaurant. The food was good and prices were $$$. Reservations recommended.

To be clear, the resort is not directly IN Boca Chica main town area. It is a 25 minute drive from this little town. We never actually went to the "town" of Boca Chica. But this rural area is all just called "Boca Chica." We were behind the gates of this private resort and went to the gorgeous beaches withing walking distance....and hiked up a developed hill trail with breathtaking views of the area. So, the photos are of the private El Regalo beach, which was heavenly and tranquil. And the other photos are of the private trail hike on the resort property.

Boca Chica is beautiful.
Boca Chica is beautiful. The mountains and the beaches are breath taking. Undeveloped and undiscovered, go now, before it changes. Not a lot of services in Boca Chica itself but several upscale hotels with all the amenities. A car is useful, but necessary, as the resorts are all-inclusive. The road from Santiago to Boca Chica is an excellent 100kph highway and, bonus, the road right down to Boca Chica shore is now paved. It is 19km, but beautifully paved now.

Boca Chica is yet an untapped tourist destination in Panama.
Boca Chica is yet an untapped tourist destination in Panama. It is the perfect launching point to explore incredibly beautiful islands and to find some peace and quiet on the pacific. Definitely take a boat tour to the surrounding islands if you stay on the mainland, and hop on a kayak if you are so inclined!

This is a great peaceful place. If you come from Panama City to Boquete this is definitely a hotel to stop by! Very friendly staff and owner, great views from the super clean rooms to the ocean and islands. Beautiful area to walk around. Breakfast was okay but not superb compared to others in Panama. You can book an island tour with a private boat, we've seen whales and dolphins so don't miss it.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Incredible views from the room as well as the lobby/restaurant. The food was very good and cheap for the quality level. Plenty of areas to chill out in, even though the hotel was full it never felt crowded.
The hotel was beautiful and great location. Having a dock right there was perfecto we didn't have to go to town to get the panga to go to the islands. Brad was a super host
