Really enjoyed the traditional casita style with the bonus of having hot water which is a rarity for Bocas. The views were amazing from the property! Also loved being able to swim nearby and the outdoor foot wash was awesome for minimizing sand on the deck.

This place is so idyllic. True island character. Simple yet quality. A sense of style in many touches.Best beds! And sheets were cotton! Or at least 50%. Beautifully situated on the shore. Staff so friendly and warm and helpful. Enjoyed the tranquility, remote feeling, and the walk to Playa Estrella.

Featuring a terrace, Waterfront 2 Story Deluxe Duplex provides accommodations in Almirante. With lake views, this accommodation offers a balcony.

The hostess Gia was wonderful. She was extremely helpful with directions, arranging a ride to the bus station, and even offered to switch our unit to the smaller, air-conditioned one when I asked whether our larger unit was air-conditioned. Loved the porch/balcony...sat there for hours. When there was a breeze, it was wonderful. The unit was quite large with a full kitchen. Markets were only a few blocks away & a restaurant/bar (Pirates) was less than a 5 min walk. Food & drinks were affordable & tasty.

Gia's Garage & Home for Bocas travelers is a recently renovated chalet in Almirante where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.

Gia is terrific, has a variety of rooms and also has a secure location for leaving your car when going to Boca del Toro. Spent a night on the way to Bocas and another on the way back to break up my long travel days. My room was huge with a full kitchen.

Every time that I go now the town in a certain way it's...

Every time that I go now the town in a certain way it's getting a little bit more indigenous if I can say so, so let me explain. In the past probably 8-10 years or so, the government is assigning property to the Cunas, that are the indigenous people of Panama, because at a certain point, they took it from them, so now Changinola is basically one of the areas where indigenous peoples are being "relocated". With that said, it's not a place that you're going to find a lot of museums or art or regular cultural activities nor a lot of things like that, but you can find places with great food options. It's more countryside area, from were you cam commute to other places like Bocas or close by áreas.
