The breakfast was really good, simple but a good variety. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The area was really pretty with lots of fresh air.

This is a jungle lodge, not a luxury resort. Nevertheless, the facilities are spacious and comfortable. The rooms have air conditioning units, which you can turn on as needed, or open the doors to enjoy the view and wildlife. The owners, a French couple, provide a delicious breakfast, and dinners if you request in advance. Franck has coordinated with locals to provide optional daytime excursions at reasonable prices. Our first full day, we took an arranged boat excursion to local islands, including Isla Grande which has restaurant choices for lunch.. Our second day, we took an arranged jungle hike and climb. We highly recommend both. We saw and heard lots of wildlife, which was our main reason for visiting this area of Panama.

Excellent location for lodging with friends or family, in a close viscinity to explore some of the historic landmarks such as Portobelo, Colón and to visit some of the finest island beaches along Colón's Atlantic coast in Panamá. Or simply a nice spot for a peaceful encounter with nature for meditating and relaxing. Guest can enjoy a fresh cooked meal from their menu upon previous notice or make use of the common kitchen space to prepare a quick meal.
